Alright! I am back with an official update. It's a lot of information so please bear with me!

Due to the news that Patreon will be moving to only monthly subscriptions, and after working with a member of Patreon’s team for the last week, I am here to announce that going forward my Patreon will be switching to Monthly payments sometime between September 3rd - 6th 2024

This means that any new patrons that sign up after those dates will be using the per-month tier setup and pricing.

What Does This Mean for Current Members?

This should NOT affect current member payments until October 1st 2024. You will be billed as the usual per-creation prices on September 1st.

I Set a Monthly Limit, How Will This Affect Me?

I know there are several Patrons who belong to tiers and have selected a maximum amount they would like to pay per month. The good news is that as long as you use the same payment method and remain a member, that limit will be honored by Patreon.

For example, if you pledged to ‘The Main Event’ tier before September 1st and have your monthly limit set to $4 Patreon should only charge you $4 a month instead of $6 once the migration occurs.

This seems to be a perpetual bonus until you either unsubscribe, change tiers, or use a different payment method after September. If you have any issues with this, please contact Patreon directly about your charge and they will be able to assist you.

What Does This Mean for Patreon?

Instead of being charged Per-Creation Patrons will now be charged a flat fee each month. Because this is a one-time charge, prices have been raised to reflect multiple posts a month.

Unfortunately, the first tier will not immediately reflect what I want to charge for it. This is because Creators are locked into a ‘multiplier’ for the migration, so I will need to manually edit this tier once it’s in place. I estimate I will be making lots of edits after the tiers go live, as well as to my Patreon look and description as a whole, so please bear with me! I will do my best, but September will most likely be an ‘under construction’ situation as I get everything working right.

What Are the New Tiers?

The following are going to be the tiers you will see starting September 3rd, along with their rewards:

Tier 1

$3 Per Month [ $2 once I am able to edit them manually]

Tip Jar

  • Access to finished art and comics earlier than public release.

  • 10% off store coupon during Pre-Order periods and new merchandise drops

Tier 2

$6 Per Month

The Main Event

  • Access to finished art and comics

  • Get a look into the process of my pieces. This includes steps such as sketches, WIP snippets, inks, etc throughout the month as I work

  • 10% off store coupon each month of your subscription (Starting in October 2024)

Tier 3

$15 Per Month

The Back Room

  • Access to finished art and comics

  • WIPs throughout the month

  • Monthly layered PSD collections and immediate access to PSD files from Sept ‘24 onward

  • 20% off store coupon each month of your subscription (Starting in October 2024)

What Are the Positives?

  • Patrons will now know exactly what they will be charged each month, and I will know exactly how much I am paid each month without surprises or guessing!

  • Since Patrons will not run the risk of being overcharged there is wiggle room instead of adhering to a strict 2-3 posts a month.

  • Higher tier Patrons will now have immediate access to their PSD rewards and all past PSD rewards (post Sept 1st, 2024). This means the $15 tier will have a growing library of files that can be accessed by anyone in that tier the second they sign up. Have to take a break for a few months? If you subscribe again, you will get all the stuff you missed!

  • More flexibility in general, which is a big boon, and I hope to figure out things over time. Polls? Sketchier for-fun comics? Different rewards? Who knows! I am excited to settle into the new system and see what I can do with it.

How Long Will I Have to Change my Membership?

The good news is if you are happy with your current tier’s changes you don’t have to do anything at all!

If you are a current active member and would like to make changes to or drop your membership you will have until September 30th to do so before you are charged for the new tiers.

If you would like to take advantage of the grandfathered maximum limits or set new ones you will have until August 31st to make any changes.

Final Notes

There are many things that are still confusing to me about this migration, but I will do my best to remain as transparent as possible. I am fingers crossed everything goes smoothly and that the transition won't be jarring.

As always, if you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them. There are a few issues I cannot personally answer such as: anything regarding payment processing, UI changes, anything directly related to credit/bank charging, and so forth as these are within Patreon’s control only. If you have questions about those, please send your inquiries directly to Patreon!

Thank You!

All that said, I am deeply thankful for all Patrons who have ever chosen to subscribe to my work. I would not be able to make this kind of content without you. I will always be perpetually thrilled for all the help folks have been willing to throw at me just for drawing furries doing sexy stuff. I will keep creating art as long as I can manage it because it is truly something I love. So, with all my heart to everyone who ever has and ever will subscribe to me: Thank you!

Looking forward to the changes! Seems like you're making the most of it and taking advantage of the change. BIG fan of the coupons, anything to help off set my ludicrous shipping rates will get me buying more prints Actually question about the coupon. How would that work if you had a sale? I'm assuming it would just use the higher % discount?

I will write up a little blurb on how the coupons work later, but for now they will work with most sales (ex: bundle sales, buy 2 get 1 x sales, free shipping, etc).

Thanks for all the work you've quickly done with this. And glad you're still loving art!
