That’s tough because you could vert easy get 2 videos out of it and do a rise and fall of Blockbuster video. But I think HV versus BV.

I thought a Blockbuster vid was already done. Unless truly talking about blockbuster, leave them out of the title to reduce confusion.

For the most part, I think most people know why a video business would decline, but I've always been curious about the Blockbuster/Hollywood rivalry. Initially, I thought Hollywood was just a local company--I had no idea that it was as big as it was.

I can only speak for parts of Central and Southern Indiana but it seemed like both Blockbuster and Hollywood video went out of business about the same time (I mean when the stores I knew of closed - I don’t know when the chains formally ended). However, Family Video outlasted both Blockbuster and Hollywood Video by several years. The vast majority of Family Video stores I knew of were located next door to a Little Caesar’s pizza shop and I always wondered if It was coincidence or if Little Caesar’s and Family Video had some form of partnership?
