Lucent Episode 03 (Patreon)

I'm not the happiest with this episode as a whole, but I had fun and there were definitely panels I'm proud of! My goal every week is generally to have a few panels I can look at and think "I did a good job!" www

I do try to read over my stuff once through at the script phase, then when storyboarded, and then again right before I finish final edits. The big question is always: did this progress the plot, and if not, did it at least add more depth/context to the characters and/or world? If it doesn't, then I've done something wrong. This time around was a bit ambiguous in that I wanted to build something up, but I'm unsure if it feels like I'm regurgitating things in too similar of a way for those who know the characters already.

 I do wish I had someone else to go over it with me because there are times like this week where I'm pretty much fine with everything at first, but by the final look through I feel like there's more I could have done or adjusted but I can't put my finger on it. Luckily, I can at least go back to these episodes and add panels if I feel like it later.

If I ever make a physical copy of the story, I'm sure I'll do a deep edit and revision where I fix the flow of things. I do hope it's still enjoyable as is!!
