Ok i didnt really remember any main plots from this episode except for 2 things: 1) the "Yo ho hello" / "Did you just call me a ho?" scene lol I always remember that line whenever I hear the word hoe/ho (and I guess the fact that its the pirate episode) 2) the museum heist scene (which i didnt remember it was the same ep as the pirate episode lol). That sequence with Phoebe crossing through the frozen lasers was always pretty cool to me. Even though it sucks that the show revoked Phoebe's active Charmed powers, I always appreciate that they allow us to see Phoebe showcase her physical, athletic skills still, at least.

I agree with you about how cool it was to see Piper do that move with shattering the glass and immediately freezing the shards after. Its always subtle but I really enjoyed how the show gives us signs that the sisters' powers not only have gotten stronger with time but their skill and control over those powers as well. Interestingly, this explode/freeze 1-2 move isn't the first time we've seen it, but before it was The Source in season 4 who did this move when it stole Piper's powers with the Hollow. But at the time I dont think Piper was able to do that. But now she can =)

Ok final comment: I think Phoebe's (Alyssa Milano's) hairstyle in this episode is my favorite one in the entire 8 seasons.

After seven years, they finally decided to include LGBT characters. Took them long enough. This episode aired in 2004, just one year after the first Pirates Of The Caribbean movie came out (which was, of course, referenced in this episode). So pirates where very popular and the Charmed writers wanted to capitalize on that. Leslie was played by Nick Lachey, the lead singer of the American boy band 98 Degrees. They were popular at the same time that Backstreet Boys and NSYNC were at their peak. Agent Brody was played by Kerr Smith, who was a regular on Dawson's Creek.

Agent Brody! I love this character, even if its for the simple fact that he shoots a dart into Sheridan!
