Yay! Here we go. Ken Leung was so enjoyable as Leon. But Bear wins as best guest star! Though it was pretty close with Amy Acker. I get why Finch didn't want the machine to prioritize him. But I also think he over-reacted. I mean, if he'd died outside of the casino or early on...that would not have been beneficial in any way.

I love this episode and not just because of Bear, though he is the best. Leon was the perfect injection to this episode to give it some humor. Reese making his emotional plea/blackmail to The Machine, as Leon is just freaking out was brilliant. I love Reese's continued direct approach to the machine. Root and Finch's scenes and conversations were very well done.

Amy Acker is VERY good as Root. The creators of the show have said they hired her for the part based on her performance as Illyria in the final season of Angel.

In the casino the Machine only made a mistake the first time around btw., on the final card it was actually Finch who deliberately lost the money by going against the machines recommendation

I feel it's important now to point out that you have to pay particular attention to two things: What The Machine is "saying" when you see it's POV (ie yellow boxes for characters that know about The Machine) Pause to read if you have to. Number Two: the score. Most characters have a musical theme. Enjoy the ride. Love watching along with you on this show😊

So I just watched 2x02 and I get what you said because the warning indicators on Root were apparent :D And the machine ain't like me when it comes to red.
