Hope everyone's having a good Christmas.

As mentioned in my last post I'll document some of my game development experiences. Before we go over my next animation experiments there are two important items that are necessary for good AI animations.

enhancing character concepts

While it is possible to get good results with just a good prompt and model I use a more deterministic approach. First I generate a ton of concepts to give a bunch of potentials, varying the details between batches to change up body shape, outfit, facial features, hair styles, etc. When I have a potential concept I upscale, enhance and often inpaint the various outfit/ armor pieces to match my vision for the character.

Enclosed a couple of examples of how a character went from a draft concept to final version. You'll need to view in fullscreen to see the differences and details.


consistent characters

One of the biggest problems with AI to this day is creating a quality consistent character with outfit. I've solved this problem. Still needs improvement, but the results are good.


Once you've trained a lora or fine tuned a model with your character it's able to accurately generate the character with its intricacies, however the problem is, to be able to train a lora you need a dataset of your character with a consistent look and outfit in the first place. I tried all the available solutions but they produced low quality results or variations that were too far from the original. Eventually I pieced together a workflow that worked great. Keep in mind that a good dataset has to feature the characters with a consistent look, body shape and (if part of the character) outfit and hair style in various poses, camera angles and lighting conditions.

I've included two examples of the characters Aveline and Veronica. Aveline is a somewhat spoiled aristocrat (female, human) and Veronica is her personal maid (dick girl, human). All the images were produced without a lora or fine-tuned model.

I've also included Iris as an example of a character with a consistent outfit and one of Aveline's dresses.

I wasn't planning on including an animation, but I had this little idea for a meme clip... It's not lip synced, that's why it doesn't quite match.

But I am planning on posting one more update around the end of the year with animation experiments.

Was skeptical about this at first. Glad to see your work. But it is raising my expectations of what you have in the works. Keep up the work though great character design. Maybe we will see our two favorite futa girls in this art style soon?

its good to see you back miro. i was wondering if we could get characters that have a strong contrast too, like smaller boobs but all dick and balls. merry xmas!

Aveline's nipples disappear unless she is *totally* naked, and you've given no evidence that Iris has any nipples at all -- despite wearing a tight, white, & wet top, which should *showcase* their protrusion! Major malfunction IMO. [N.B: In the Veronica folder, her pics are all labeled "Aveline" for some reason.]

I do find that AI does make some really great bodies and environments but I find that I don't tend to like the faces that AI generates. For some reason AI thinks that pudgy noses and lip fillers are appealing! On every one of the finalized versions I find the noses to be too pudgy and the lips to be filled too much! The best model here is the brunette with the blue bikini or white bikini. The eyes and hair are excellent. The glitening skin tone and shadows are excellent! Her nose is a realistic pudgy but her lips are still a bit too injected. The red hair girls nose is way too pudgy and her lips are too injected. The armor doesn't make sense because it is conveying that she is poisinous. It seems that you have thought along the lines of the character of Posion Ivy! You would not want to have sex with her while having that armor on because your going to get scratched, so your risking your life and your physical well being to have sex with her! This means her underlying mentality is the same as her armor and she is someone to stay away from! Her body and hair are great though! The other issue is the level of blush. It tends to be that AI models use too much blush which looks offensive and ridiculous! Again the brunette with the blue or white bikini is the only one with a decent level of blush.

Veronica was my attempt at smaller boobs, lol... but now I realize she's still pretty big in some images, so yeah will go even smaller

the veronica images are mislabelled maybe Aveline and Iris have really soft nipples or the bikini is made out of carbon fibre? guess doesn't make much sense for Iris' outfit, but sometimes the thick bra look is nice, no?

dont get me wrong, im in favor of big ones but characters with contrast can be really nice!

gave these girls thicker lips, not AI's fault... but will make sure there's going to be a lot of variety and will look out for the blush thing and other tropes

This analysis is spot on. And when you consider also the unnatural "white" lighting, these images advertise their AI-ness quite plainly. Not sure even Miro can overcome those limitations -- much less match the artistry of previous 3Dx images.

Merry Christmas! In the example of the draft to final version I have to say that the armor took a turn for the worse imo. Besides the adding of a lot of useless things on the armor itself (studs? cracks? extra holes?) in the draft at least the AI tried to make the vambraces have something to hold them on the arm (at least the left one). In the final version they're just magically glued to the arm. I think AI generally fucks up these kind of detailed armored pieces. If your goal was more "realistic" the final version is definitely a downgrade clothes wise. So I'm a little confused. You talked about lora and fined tuned model then include images that are without a lora? What was the point? Wasn't this post supposed to show us how great consistency you're able to get? Iris' clothes aren't really that consistent. Her belt changes quite a few elements between images. AI truly is trying to see the world through the filter of dementia.. Your attempts to get "realism" with AI will probably just land you in the uncanny valley imo. It's been about 2 years since you drank the AI koolaid and we have yet to see more than single characters floating through some background, still or animated. Where are the pictures with 2 or more characters? It's the end of the year when you were planning of having a demo and we have not seen 2 characters interact with each other in pics or animations, let alone do complicated stuff like sex. These updates are just more of the same crap of single character portraits. Unless you mean to focus on that, where the hell is the rest of things you need to actually make content? Where is the sex?

True. Most of these girls looks wayyy too similar, with a huge focus on the girl part. They all look like they're barely out of puberty face wise. The days of beautiful women like Cerene are pretty much gone since we went the AI route. It's time to face it, AI miro work will always be less then the 3d stuff. Even if we get close to the "realism" miro wants it will be less overall.

I care more about style than function. This is a magical world, so I'm interested in realism in terms of the visuals not historicity or blacksmithing. Read my post, before you can create a lora you need a dataset, that's the hard part. I don't think the minor issues with the outfit is something people will notice or care about. Yes, there are still inconsistencies, but it's already in an acceptable place Imo and will only get better. I guess you don't follow AI, but yeah, if you think it's just Koolaid, let's just say it's the exact opposite. I haven't been working on AI for two years, Flying High was made in between, I've only been back for a few months now. But is AI the best thing since sliced bread?? Absolutely! As I said I'll work out sex animation and then the rest. But yeah, sex animation especially is very difficult to do with AI, it's going to take me another couple months at least to get things to a place where it's usable. I'll post more tests in the meantime.

I know it's fantasy, but there's a difference between bikini armor and pieces of metal glued to skin. I find this line of reasoning weird coming from someone who keeps telling us he's going 100% on AI because he wants "realism". Awesome, how about we have some clothes that don't defy nature for no reason? Got it datasets are hard. How about we see a character with a lora/strong data set and see the results you can get. You've only been back on the AI stuff for a few months? Because there hasn't really been that much progress on the extra FH stuff? Just one animation done. Also you told some time ago you were planning a demo of the AI game by the end of year. You don't have either your main character or sex scenes ready to work. How was that ever going to work? Just asking, because all you've shown for 2 years is images/clips of a single character at a time.

Yeah. Real shame tho. I wanted to see non-AI Cerene and crew one last time. Now we have Elsa Jean playing as Young Cerene. Hope the Bloodlust Lanessa doesn't get the HL2 Episode 3 treatment

I wonder if the sequel to Bloodlust Cerene(Lanessa) will be using these new methods? It looks promising, besides the AI flubbing up the hands and other uncanny valley glitches. It comes with the turf when u use AI lol. Looking forward to the finished product! Hope you had a great Christmas/Holidays Miro and crew!

Patreon wanted to know *why* I just cancelled my annual Miro subscription, and this is what I told them: [1] Miro repeatedly promised to post all completed FH animations but has *never* actually done so; and [2] Miro has *abandoned* creating 3Dx pics & animations for developing computer games (in which I have zero interest) consisting of AI-generated images (which are patently inferior).

I get my AI stuff looks different, so if that's not your thing... in my mind a better version of my 3D stuff though, sort what I wished my 3D stuff would evolve into, so personally I can't get enough of working on this

plenty of outfits that will have a more traditional fit as well :) lora based characters aren't special, just more consistent and not as technical to render yes, I had a sex workflow all mapped out, but I couldn't get it to work so I had to start from scratch, and tech has evolved a lot, so that through things off, but the good news is that the results will be much better when I sort out the new one I'm posting the lists of tests in my next update... in a couple hours
