They knew the rematch of Alabama Texas would be the best for ratings. Pretty much all that matters. As a gator fan I couldn’t be happier to see GA and FSU out of the playoff, but they def got snubbed.

Im an FSU alum, FSU HAD to be in over the other 2, that was a crazy snub, Bama needed 4th and 31 to beat Auburn. After steaming for days, Im sure they wouldve left us out with Travis and even if UGA had beaten Bama. Who cares if they would be underdogs to all teams, they had to give them a shot. The Orange Bowl is going to have like 10 players per team missing the game for the draft/transfer portal

Idk, if Travis was ok, wiped us and Louisville, it may have been a different story. But I do see it as an excuse to let the SEC in for sure. And yeah good luck, it’s a toss up for me who wins, but GA def has more stacked 2nd/3rd strings, at least y’all get to play a bowl game…

Maybe. But espn was already doing the "fsu shouldnt be in" dance before the Travis injury Uga y definetely deeper and more talented. I guess fsu will have more motivation to win. I dont think theyll get anything from it. It will.be either "uga didnt care" or "see fsu sucks". Both of which shoulndt have mattered for the selection

From the sec side I can tell you if you beat GA it will mean something. But I remember hearing the “quality of team” thing right after the injury. Either way, y’all were always gonna be the “underdog” even tho I think you’d still beat Michigan rn
