Had to miss a day of comic work because of non-patreon illustrative duties, so I'm a bit behind. Aiming to have it finished this weekend!

I've only recently noticed how Meesh draws. It's scary and amazing how he does not 1, not 2, sometimes not 3, but about 4 drafts to get a final piece done. To quick sketches, lined art, solid coloring and eventually adding the bold lines and shading. So it's a bit more shocking to see it in comics, blows my mind!

Thank you! Each comic page (and every illustration) has a whole lot of drafts and stages to get through. Sketching is typically two phases: rough and refined. Then there's lineart. Then there's filling in the flat colors. After that is shading, then highlights, then specular highlights/motion lines/sound effects. Then the background is painted, and finally the word balloons cap off the process. So that's about 9 or 10 individual steps to get through!
