As much as I enjoy torturing Travis through emotional moments, I was happy to introduce some silliness with Joe. 

Travis's expression in the first panel was a bit of a balancing act. I wanted to make him look tired, but happy to see Joe... but it was too easy to fall into "bedroom eyes" territory. My first couple sketches also looked like Travis was stoned. Would he even smoke weed...?
