This is essentially the climax of the chapter (so to speak), and so I had some internal pressure to make it as grand as possible. Most of today was spent playing around with speed lines, which are way harder to make look good than you may think. It doesn't help that I spend vast swathes of time not touching them at all, so returning to dynamic pages like this, I feel like I'm learning how to incorporate them into a composition all over again. If I made an action comic on the side or something, that would surely help me to keep practicing them!
