The second of this month's sketches, and my second personal slot before the patron prompts start to go up! Wanted to get started refining Micatl for some upcoming needs for him so why not put him on the list to make time!

Does he personally scribe the inside of his mask over time? Or is that a magical property imbued into the piece? I love the image of him working on his costumes in the evening, perhaps playing with an idea to see how it can improve his performance. ^⁠_⁠^

Love it! I'm a huge fan of the Dia de los Muertos aesthetic, and I'm just now realizing how much it has in common with stuff like this, which is fitting given some of the root influences
