This video will be for all patreon tiers as a one-off!

I spend pretty much every moment I have at home on my commissions if I am able to. But I also have a big family so things can get busy here. I still do my best to fit in as much work as possible though :)

This video shows a recording of around half my average work day on commissions. I was going to record a full one, but that would be a bit too long anyway... and I couldn't keep up the work any longer for the day XD

You can see here as I work in real-time on my current commissions such as Sick Days (by BigOnionBean), Dendy's Age Device (by Davaba19), The Mega Fusion to Perfection! (by TRADT-PRODUCTION) and Tickle Troubles (by AttackPac). You can see I did not get time to work on the other two projects I had lined up in the top list.

The program I use is CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX, and I draw on the small wacom tablet. I'm now on my second tablet, hoping it will last much longer as I do not wish to purchase a third ^^'

When I'm done commissions at around 2pm each weekday, I pack up and get house chores done before heading off to my part-time night shift.

I take weekends off otherwise I might go crazy :>

Hopefully for artists, videos like these will be educational, and commissioners can see how I work on their very own stories. I try to do the details the best I can and won't leave something I'm very unhappy with, no matter the time it costs.

Hope you enjoy!

Half a work day for Candy Clumsy

Hi guys! This video is just an example I decided to make, where I recorded approximately half of my typical work day (for digital art commissions). Well, I was going to record a full day. But I just couldn't sit at the computer anymore, so I had to cut it to half. About three hours later and as you can see, I really didn't get much done... yet it felt like I had worked for at least 8 hours xD Here I work on some current projects such as Sick Days; commissioned by BigOnionBean, Dendy's Age Device; commissioned by Davaba19, The Mega Fusion To Perfection! ; commissioned by TRADT-PRODUCTION, and, well, I had a couple other projects there you can see (such as The Reluctant Dragon and my story GUST) but I didn't get time to get a start on those on the day of recording. If I finish enough of each commission in one work day, I always spare myself some time to do my own GUST story; an original comic idea of mine about dragons. But if I'm falling behind on commissions then I just don't do my own stories for the day, or even for weeks at a time. Soon I plan to make a maximum amount of each commission that I can do in a day; in order to not become overworked again which has happened way too much. I'll still do as much as I can though, I always do. Commissions come first! Sorry the video may seem boring I guess... but for those wanting to draw comics similar to my style, this can be an educational little video for you, and a good way to show my commissioners how I work on their stories in real-time. I enjoy watching other artists work, and comparing it to how I work as well. So I figured some other people must enjoy it as well :) As seen in the video, I use CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX, and I use the original small wacom tablet. I'm now on my second one, hoping it lasts and that I don't need a third any time soon XD
