Lupa, just like to Jerry from RT TV and many others: Goku is a profoundly great father that sacrificed his life twice for Gohan against Raditz and Cell, when he says “I wasn’t really involved” he meant literally in the sense that he wasn’t involved as much he would’ve liked, not that he was a “deadbeat or bad” by any means, and anyone that has actually paid attention to the series would know that. Enough with the BS agenda that he’s a deadbeat/bad father, it’s almost as bad as believing “DragonBall has no story”

Something you have remember is that this show was originally a web anime. My guess is it was going to release the episodes in batches which is why if you watch the episodes back to back the pacing makes a lot more sense. But only like 6 months ago (while this show has been in production since 2021) did they change it to releasing weekly on FujiTV.

Goku isn't a bad father but I wouldn't say that he's a good father either. This goes without saying for Goten but even with Gohan he left most of his upbringing up to Chichi. He was around early on but outside of training, when it came to raising Gohan that was predominantly Chichi's job.

Tamagami 3 probably weakest. Me guessing. I this will happen. Ssj1 golu vs Tamagami 3 Ssj2 goku vs tamagami 2 Ssj3 goku vs tamagami 1 Fusion or new transformation goku vs gomah. But so far villain feel like a joke. I wish one of the villain atleast super buu strength. Seeing that they implying that they are below majin buu lvl. Maybe the scientists will create a final villain like cell max or something. People theories that maybe JANEMBA can be the final villain

Lol I think Lupa is forgetting that Goku is still getting used to his current body. Yeah, he's leagues ahead of Dabura in his adult form, but he needs to get the hang of his kid form so he can get his full strength

Most of the characters in this series is a bad father. Vegeta doesn't show any affection for Trunks for the most part, and people forget that Piccolo left a 4 year old in the wilderness to survive. Krillin though seems to be succeeding.

Yea definitely a 1 episode fight coming up next week and yea the way they have been building this up with how weak everyone has been in comparison to goku does lead the me to think the tamagami's or at least one of the later ones down the line are gonna be an actual problem but not so much this one just because of everyone that's kinda doubting goku or to the ppl in that village that dont even think someone can beat him so this one is probably gonna be a wash for goku to style on and prove he's really that guy.

Dabura fought high school-aged Gohan, who didn’t even go Super Saiyan 2 to fight him…so the tamagotchi is probably at least a bit stronger than regular super saiyan. Maybe he’s as strong as someone like…Pikkon?

He was already dead, and it was no longer his time to save the world, it was time for a passing of the torch and legacy, realizing that there was nobody else better suited than his sons, just like he did with entrusting Gohan against Cell. Even if he could’ve defeated Fat Buu, with his regenerative power he would’ve survive no matter what while Goku was only allowed back on earth for a limited time. There would also be future threats.

hear me out ,the deadbeat allegations have always been weird to me because if he didnt fight and save the earth ,the earth and the galaxy around it wouldve been space dust so ,there wouldve been no family to raise in the first place and you cant raise sumn when your dead ,and sure some ppl may argue and say he had a choice of whether he could come back or not and he chose not to but again there was an explanation for that because niggas literally kept coming from the woodworks because of him and he felt Gohan was strong enough to protect the Earth,after the final threat of Buu had disappeared ,so his circumstances in my personal opinion is different from say someone like Ging Freeces who's literally just a deadbeat

Goku wouldn’t live forever anyways and he realized that after dieing twice that most threats usually come after him, so it would be best to stay in otherworld, it’s not his fault that an otherworldly threat after him being gone would threaten the earth. Thinking anything otherwise like it’s his fault is reaching.

You cooked yourself 💀💀 Also I think Goku is underestimating the Tamagami and is probably gonna get clapped even with super saiyan forms. So he'll probably train some more and spar with Vegeta. HEAR ME OUT- the he only wasn't involved because he was dead, alright? He got 4 years with gohan, then died, a year passed and namek happened and goku was trapped in space for a year and a half, HE GOT 3 GOOD YEARS with gohan, then he spent a FULL YEAR with gohan in the time chamber, then DIED FOR 7 YEARS and this show takes place right after he came back to life lol Out of Gohans 17 years of life up to this point, goku was dead/physically unable to be present for about 10, so I don't blame him.
