So I have a feeling that the girl who was an employee worked during the last games when Gi-hun participated, cause when she looked back at him it almost seemed like it was in slight recognition. They also kind of hinted that she was a game employee when she gave the dude that large stack of cash. Unless she was saving all that, I found it unlikely that the mascot job paid that much since she went there multiple times to find her daughter.

i haven't given it a chance yet because of how atrociously bad season 1 ending was despite season 1 being overall fantastic......I just remember the MC turning super cringe and sad at the end for absolutely no reason at all.......like bruh you were the degenerate, you chose to do it in the first place.....regretted it AND GOT OUT OF IT.....and THEN willingly chose to go back......who you mad at and why edge lord? Yeah Season 2 is definitely good. However, I would say Season 1 is better. Mainly for two reasons, season 1 was able to get me to are more for those characters, as there are barely any in season 2 that I got invested in. Also, I don't really like how they pretty much split season 2 in half and are calling it season 3. They could easily have made this one long season to have a completed story, instead of how weird it felt at the end of this season.

I mean, he's realistic enough with how he's reacted to the loss of other human beings senselessly before his own eyes. It's been in his character from the beginning how he feels about humanity. He just didn't have the means to be the person he was because he was always struggling financially. He wasn't the most likeable person in the beginning, but he has a kind and generous nature outside of his bad habits and decisions. So it would only make sense that he wouldn't want to do something about the games after having experienced it. What is he going to tell someone in therapy? No one would believe him!

I don't think the card guy was doing whatever he wanted when inviting people to the game. The reason you came to that conclusion was originally because the girl was just given a card but the reason she was given a card was because she works for them. The other dude likely played the games with people to find people who are despreate enough for money that they will let you slap them when the prize for flipping the thing yourself is like 10 or 100 bucks, forgot how much.

I don't think the first recruiter was doing the slapping because he wanted to. Mainly because in the first season, they showed at the beginning before red light green light the videos of them getting slapped---to tell them they're there because they didn't get care about getting slapped because they gain money. Like that burning the drawing scene seemed super random at first, but then at the end we see it might mean she is burning down her positive/hopeful side (since she couldn't find her daughter, and finding out that this sweet little girl who gave her the drawing is severely ill too, prolly causing her even more pain), so I guess she said "fuck everything" and joined the opps, lmao. I do hope that is not the case, because it is kind of like the "hurt people hurt people" thing, which really sucks... like focus your wrath specifically on who hurt you, don't turn into a monster and repeat the cycle hurting random innocents, lol.
