If you take a screenshot of the shop before and after lu guang closes the dark room door, you can play spot the difference game :) There are things that don't line up, indicating that there are at least 2 timelines happening simultaneously. Also it's implied that the people who disappeared that Cheng Xiaoshi mentioned is his parents.

Just wanna say this since I myself can't confirm if intentional or mistake: but after F by F analysis from 56:36-56:38 by the LC Reddit, they feel CXS has *yellow eyes* and intentionally put in the show Not stating as fact, but it's been discussed heavily

Yeah this isn't actually season 3 it's labelled on the official release as just "Link Click: Bridon Arc". Like Roshi said, the real season 3 is coming soon and will be 24 eps. I doubt it'll be this year though, or even next.

I could be wrong about this but I'm not entirely convinced that Cheng dying here was the same flashback we got at the end of S2. In the flashback it looked like they were in a dark forest or something with trees in the background and here he was dying in the photo studio. I thought it may have just been artistic license for the flashback but when the red-haired Vanitas guy said "This is your punishment for changing the past", it makes me think Cheng and the others have died multiple times. Homura-Madoka situation. Also I think the "people with the same eyes" were Cheng's parents since he previously mentioned that they disappeared. Lastly, Sheera's theory about the blonde and red-haired guys being alternate versions is cool but probably not true since we saw the blonde guy as a model on a fashion magazine cover earlier in the episode.
