Is it true that sitting down to pee better empties your bladder, helping to prevent dribble?

Robert C.

Not sure but I do use a squatty potty for #2. It was recommended by my first PFPT and I had herd about one on a radio program I listen too. Sit down to pee, I’ve herd men doing this when real tired in the A.m but science behind it not sure. My personal opinion and from what I read a lot of bladder and feeling urge to go is physiological. Obsessing over feeling the need to empty and go even if it’s not bad but just to empty for sake of being near a bathroom or comfortable can build and form a Bad habit. I have experimented and broke those urges. No issue.

My hubby struggles with this. Little spots on his boxers, the urine aggravates his foreskin.
