Hey!

Today I sent the August archive links in a private message. Anyone who did not receive or later joined please send me a message.

I had trouble with Google Drive over the morning. A new desktop app had to be installed. There was a power outage yesterday. The storm may have caused this. I'm in a bit of a hurry now.

LiT7 render status: ~ 3500 frames ready

There is something wrong with my machine. I can't render a sequence from Blender, just from the command line. And the render time is too much. Previously, a frame was ready in 30-40 seconds. Now 2-3 times that. Bahhhh ... But I have to stay calm.

Thanks for the support guys.

Do you use latest studio driver?

Ghalenus

1) Most SSDs become slower as they fill up. Sometimes - dramatically. 2) Dr. Web CureIt! - great tool for virus checking. I use it sometimes as additional for my ESET Nod32. Maybe you have a miner virus? 3) IObit DriverBooster - another great tool - for driver updating. Its may fix thing ( or broke them, but you will have the resoration point)

1) an ssd also gets slower by cell age, degradation and heat (which will increase the degradation) 2) or use the 30-day free version of kaspersky internet security (i have been using kaspersky for 10 years now) 3) you don't need a drive booster you need to check if you have garbage collection turned on (under Start -> All Programs -> Administrative Tools click on Defragment and Optimize Drives and check if it is enabled for that ssd) rendering also increases the heat of both the cpu and gpu, did you check the temps when you render?

Ghalenus

Oh, about the heat and ssd. If you have a m2 ssd, it can overheat, if you don't put a radiator on it. And Kaspersky is cool, but 1) it is very heavy for all your system, 2) it's too aggressive and suspicious

[T]yphoon

in 99% of the case with a ssd it wont get hot, only when ur benchmarking the ssd to oblivion. also kaspersky is not that heavy for the system anymore, because of the fast pc's we currenty have and its not that aggressive

I put on the latest studio driver. But nothing has changed. I have a bitdefender. He found nothing. The temperatures are fine. The SSD tends to heat up. But they said 55 degrees Celsius is not wrong.
