The very first gameplay (Patreon)
Content
I finally have the opportunity to see how the characters I draw look in the game. All thanks to one of my friends who gave me the IfAction game engine. Compared to other engines I've tried, this engine seems to be the easiest to learn. It is very well suited for those who don't understand programming at all (like me).
This is a recording of the very first test run of the application, including the sprites I drew. I didn't make any adjustments, so the character's movements may look awkward. Everything will be fixed in the future.
Now I can see that not all sprites are drawn yet for the main character (although I thought the main character was completely finished). I need to draw a walking animation, as well as a few more additional animations. I'll start on this when I finish drawing all animations for the first witch.
Yes, the process will be long, because I draw each sprite by hand. Also, I can't create the game every day, because my main activity on Patreon is still creating images. And I also have the main job that takes up most of my time.
Many thanks to everyone who supports me! I really hope that I can devote more time to creativity with your help!
With love, Helen.
