POSSIBLE MIGRATION FROM PATREON (Patreon)

Hi folks,

Welp. As is tradition, no good thing lasts forever and it's looking like the time to pack up and find a new home for my content may be approaching soon.

TL;DR VERSION: 

Patreon issued new rules where they don't allow a lot of the content I post, so I've set up a SubscribeStar and I plan to migrate there IF and only IF patreon actually takes action against my account here.

It's hard to say whether the new policies that Patreon has adopted are going to be reinforced in a way that prevents me from being able to share my work with you here the way that I have done for so long.

I know that it's a payment processor issue first and foremost, and that companies like gumroad and patreon are just bending to the will of these processors, but it is incredibly sad to, time and time again, see NSFW content creators like myself sidelined and kicked to the curb by companies like Patreon (who, just so y'all know, make around $3k off of me EVERY YEAR just in their percentage of the take, so it's not like I'm not making them money) simply because it's more convenient just to push those creators off of your website than it is to fight the payment processing companies.

I get it, legal battles like that are expensive and lossy, it's just painful to, over and over again, watch my profession get passed up in favor of the 'less potentially problematic' majority.

So I'm just gonna be here keeping an eye on things and i'll update everyone as time goes on and the situation develops. Sometimes these poorly worded rules are cause for undue panic, but sometimes they are exactly as bad as they appear to be, and this time I plan to be prepared.

REGARDLESS of if Patreon does or does not allow me to keep posting, I will be starting to post my content to SubscribeStar as a mirror of Patreon - the exact same content, the exact same price, so that you can choose freely where you'd like to get my content from.

To be very clear: There will be NO difference in the content between patreon and Subscribestar, so subscribing to both (while kind of you) will not get you anything different! I'm just diversifying.

I'm sorry to say that my "patreon exclusives" can no longer be precisely that, but I can assure you that they will remain exclusive to folks who have spent the exact same amount as you have each month. 

I'll update here when I have more info and as things develop.
