2022-01-22 05:01:59 Even though YG artists have not went on M Countdown for several years they're still eligible to win. 1Team's "Vibe" actually came out at the end of March and unfortunately, they didn't win anything. Too early for that, they really need to build up their fanbase. It took Monsta X YEARS before they won & look at them now! Here's how points are determined on M Countdown: Digital Single Sales (45%), "Album Sales (15%), Social Media Points (YouTube official music video views + SNS buzz) (20%), "Global Fan Votes (global fan votes through Mwave, Mnet Japan and Mnet America + SMS Votes) (10%), and "Mnet Broadcast Points (10%). Each music show has a similar sort of system but it varies with percentages. And yes, these are weekly. There's also a top ten chart so you can see how your group ranked that week and I went back & looked at the videos for April and 1Team did manage to place at #10 one week but that was it.
