I can finally wear my headphones again so I can catch up with reactions 🥳 The annoyance of a bruised jaw causing me to have earache with my headphones on has put me about two weeks behind on your reactions 😢 Shen Qingqiu betting on Luo Binghe honestly gives me such Back to the Future vibes 🤣 But yes Yue Qingyuan definitely giving Sugar Daddy vibes by being willing to pay Shen Qingqiu's debt if he loses the bet. I honestly love that in SVSSS we don't just get way more female characters than Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's other series, but we also get to see them being badasses like Liu Mingyan. Gotta love her pulling off those Matrix moves 😆😍 It adds to me wishing we got more media for SVSSS. It's definitely pretty shocking that Qin Wanrong dies like that. But it's a great way of showing that the original story is changing. Just like Shen Qingqiu was able to save Liu Qingge, there is also a risk to characters who were originally safe in the story like Qin Wanrong. Liu Qingge definitely draws your attention, even when he doesn't say anything and he's just hanging out in the background. He is gorgeous and the donghua team also clearly liked him (given how well he's animated), but by the viewers' attention being drawn to him they are constantly reminded that this is not the original story and that Liu Qingge walking around and being in these scenes is already a pretty significant change to the original story. I gotta say that Liu Qingge casually coming into view when Shen Qingqiu was talking about supporting Luo Binghe is exactly how I imagine Pei Ming when he's around Xie Lian and Hua Cheng 🤣 Just Liu Qingge is more disbelieving that he has such an oblivious shixiong like Shen Qingqiu and giving him so much shade 😆

Ohh, the Back the Future reference is fun! 😀 And Yue as the sweet sugar daddy – oh my, what are we setting up, MXTX?! I do appreciate MXTX giving us a plethora of female characters that are badass as well! But the fact that Wanrong just died is insane! It’s definitely putting in perspective that the story CAN alter from what SQQ knows, which is… *nervous laugh* I can see MXTX wringing her hands maniacally already! And YES – why don’t we have more media for this seriesssss?! Double YES to Liu being stoically handsome in the background and that the animation team was really all about him as well! And YES, he’s basically if Shi Wudu and Pei Ming combined for me at this point! That’s so on point! I love it! Thank you for the comment and hope your jaw feels better!
