The Black Rose Arc is ok the first time through, but great on a rewatch. I don't think you got many comments because it's almost impossible to discuss without spoiling, but there is a lot going on in these episodes once you go back to them.

I couldn’t wait for you to reach this episode, it always leaves everyone GAGGED. And everyone forgetting was lowkey foreshadowed bc when the duelists with black roses lost they would forget all the events that led them to duel Utena. So isn’t it fitting to have the arc wrap up that way. An entire arc that basically doesn’t exist :)

This video was so fun to watch through, I always welcome an in-depth discussion! I'm so lost in this show now (and I've committed now to pacing myself within 1 episode of the current reaction) - I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts and look forward to seeing how it plays out - very good questions! Is anyone real? I don't know if I'm ready for the next arc, my hope is that since it feels we've taken some time out from development on Utena's character to focus on all the side characters' interests and the craziness of these past two episodes - maybe for the next section we focus back more on Utena and progress her understanding of Anthy/End of the World and other loose ends. I really hope Wakaba is real and ends up being Utena's maid of honor if Anthy ever becomes more than a bride to the roses (but I don't really know what to think of her now, before it seemed like Utena + Anthy was likely)! Even Nanami would get an invite I bet, but I actually don't think you'd want her at your wedding, I can only imagine her showing up in something which outmatches the wedding dress hahaha :)

Thank you for the comment and kind words! This show is WILD and honestly, the confusion is kind of addicting - it’s a mystery that I want to solve but have no clue what the reveal will be! So many questions! IS THIS REAL LIFE?!I I agree, I have no idea what the rest of this series will bring to us! But I really want Utena to develop as well and I cannot WAIT, though I am terrified, to see what will happen next! I definitely agree that Anthy and Akio need some development – I want to know the secrets of this world and I cannot wait to see where it goes! Also, Nanami would SO have the best dress at any wedding – it’d probably be white, too.
