the new models look nice, but no need to optimize it so rigorously, it could use more polygons, not less. remember, games like to optimize vehicle models because they tend to be background characters, but in this game, they are the foreground. it's a different mindset! see the models in il2 tank crew. the light, gun barrel are very round.: https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/6585301/c8a004cd4c02f48c13deebd14f88e1fc44613b66.jpg

What a great project! Please make the vehicle physics as realistic as possible. *realistic tank tracks physics (for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSdKs4ZGDKo [maybe this person is something for your team) *working suspension *tyre deformation and flat tyres *realistic crew survivorbilyty (headshot,...) *good damage modell and damage visualisation *... And add a killcam (like WT)

Thanks for your message. We aren't using full track physics like chobiglass shows there because his system requires a heavy physics load on the game engine, as well as fairly low speeds. Since we'll be optimizing for large battles and modern vehicles, this is not an option for us. However, we DO have working suspension and a good damage model, and the rest of the features you listed are in development - with the possible exception of a "killcam" which is a gameplay design decision. We have an after-action review mode that's similar to WT's killcam but shows all shots for review; you can see it in the public demo by pressing "End".

Um, please help a noob out: Where do I get that Vertical Slice?
