Ok so I remember you brought up how some fans stop watching because of season 4 which I’m kind of shock by because this is the first season since 2 that had progression. I bring it up because I am aware that this episode was mixed by fans when it was coming out because they hated how Marinette acted in this where she decided to replace Chat despite saying she would never. I understand Chat’s frustration but he really should understand her new responsibilities. Really, the episode once again showcases why these two need to have better communication. Ladybug clearly still haunted by Chat Blanc and fears getting too close to Chat because she doesn’t want to cost the risk of their identities exposed. On a side note, at least we know Mari has a type. Adrien, Luka, and now Catwalker who all are gentlemen, responsible, and kind to her. If Chat acted this more, she probably would had notice him more. Goes to show why Mari needs to love all sides of him in order for the reveal to work. Adrien and Plagg’s wholesome moment at the end was good too. ^^

I feel like the scene with cat noir and ladybug talking is kinda parallel of Hack-San when ladybug was talking with cat noir about the other holder. Penalteam is one of my fav episodes, I am also really eager to see the finale! :D

Honestly, I’ve always viewed Chat Noir’s outbursts as a result primarily because Ladybug has been distancing him and keeping secrets. Like for Ladybug who has all this pressure on her shoulders, Chat is left in the dark and unable to actually help her. I’m excited to see your thoughts on Penalteam, it’s a fun episode right before the finale! I cannot express how HYPED I am for your reaction to it, it’s one of my favorite finales out of all the seasons.
