By which definition does apartheid require exploitation of labor? AFAIK, the term is used to describe a formal and legalized system of racial/ethnic segregation. No one is trying to say, "this is 100% of what happened in South Africa back in the day".

Woke is an African American term meaning "alert to racial prejudice and discrimination". It has nothing to do with unlimited self definition, it specifically references institutional, communal and individual attitudes of anti-blackness fundamental to American society. This understanding is easily and readily available with only the slightest research.

I thought Bunga were making the point that woke is *not* like the postmodernism it currently (and incorrectly) gets linked to, which was actually significantly less rigid and essentialist than what has replaced it (i.e. woke)
