Man Sakura really stepped her game up in these episodes. For once she wasn’t useless good for her. So glad they developed her character more. Her development is incredible to see as time goes on.

Yah early Naruto Shippuden suffered some pacing issues and slowness due to the studio being afraid of catching up. It's only until like around the episode 50 mark did they decide to go the rout of doing a filler arc and then coming back to canon arcs with much better pacing and then eventually go back to filler arcs and then canon arcs. Even bleach did the same thing for its anime.

Damn gonna be hard to wait for the next set of episodes but its okay because we have to fit at least 2 drops on the same week for the arc to end organic, loved the Sasori backstory we got introduced for the first time to one of my favorites OST's called Despair, we gonna hear it different times in the future ! btw the Akatsuki cloaks are so dope and characteristic of such criminals

Agree with you guys... Naruto does an amazing job of humanizing its antagonists. Sasori is a good example, and we saw it with Zabuza/Haku in the first part, as well as Neji & Gaara... And early on in the series, we see that ninjas struggle mightily with being weapons and living in the ninja world. Which is why Naruto seems to be so special of a character in that he lives out his Ninja Way differently, and even inspired all of those characters to live their lives differently. Here with Sasori... we do see that Chiyo loved her grandson in her flashbacks... but at the same time, it seems like she really only taught Sasori puppet techniques and didn't show him real love and care that he needed. She kind of mentions a few episodes back that she's made so many mistakes, and I would argue this is one mistake here, that she didn't properly care for a child growing up without his parents.

Sakura's "Shannaro!" exclamation roughly translates to "Hell yeah/no!" or "Damn it!". The English dub just has her say "CHA!"

Yeah... And not to say too much, but they switched between canon and filler arcs quite a bit towards the end of Shippuden. When we get there, it's going to result in Steph/Mel having to get the "recap" type of replays at the beginning of a number of episodes. For people who were watching weekly, it was needed because they probably hadn't seen the canon in months, but for people watching straight-through now... it'll be a slight drag.

First 50 episodes of shippuden has terrible pacing once we get to the zombie twins arc it gets so much better
