to clarify shunsui originally had one zanpakuto “Katen Kyokotsu” who he calls ohana and in order to hide nanaos zanpakuto he asked ohana to give birth to a second zanpakuto spirit to hide the sword so shunsui has to zanpakuto spirits the adult and the kid are both his and instead of it being Katen Kyokotsu now its “Katen” and “Kyokotsu” we do not know if nanao as a zanpakuto spirit it was never revealed in bleach hope that helps

Loved this dynamic about the Ise family curse, Shunsui having nothing to do with it because he is not a couple of lover with them he says that everyone entrust him with their precious posessions then die, being not a curse like Ise's family but just something that happened to happen to him, his brother, Nanao's mother sword, Yamamoto's death and asking himself "Don't they know that i hate shouldering responsibilites?" being now the captain commander of the gotei 13 also showing us why he is always like so chill uninterested in engaging fights

What happened with the zanpakuto is that shunsui own zanpakuto spirit created another entity to be used to hide Nanao zanpakuto. How Shunsui zanpakuto was able to give birth is still a mystery (with even a funny theory that shunsui and his zanpakuto spirit relationship is alot lot more intimate than you think) but that that's how shunsui obtained dual zanpakuto. The younger spirit is not Nanao zanpakuto. She was just hiding Nanao real zanpakuto within her. Both spirits are still shunsui

I think saying dandadan is the best anime this season is fair. Bleach is my fave but dandadan has some real attention put into it and the animation is great. People need to be accepting of other’s opinions. But this ain’t even the peak of this season of bleach. I won’t give it away but the next bits should be even better. They’re hyping it up on Twitter and stuff on all the official pages. It’s gonna be tough for any anime this season to beat bleach by the end of the next 3 episodes. One of the best parts in all of bleach. Lille in his final form I think is supposed to be a cherubim. They’re angels with the heads of animals. It does look like an owl. He got a little too full of himself. Lost in the sauce.
