Yah, I was one of the people that were mixed on the opening but I kinda softened my criticism. I guess I followed the mentality of the fans on twitter who said: "opening animation bad=anime will be bad". Steph is right though, many people felt the opening was more old school so they enjoyed it better. Sakamoto days in general feels like an anime we would have watched back in the early 2000's. I still think the opening could've been better just based on how I feel Sakamoto days represents, but I am glad y'all enjoyed it. First episode has been fire so you won't see me complaining.
