another great anime of this season! so sad that it has come to an end but super excited for the future of blue lock <3

i hope they have a bigger budget for the bluelock v u-20 cause it definitely has some of the best moments in the manga

2023-04-25 09:19:16 there is a sidestory / spin-off manga centered around nagi as the main character...i was wondering if they gonna make an ova or not, but turns out they're actually turning this sidestory into the movie which I can't be more happy...in that there was one moment, where I was laughing so hard, can't wait to see that scene animated... also this season adapted until ch 94 (excluding the intro scene for shido in ch 88 &amp; 89) and considering the BL11 vs JPN U20 arc lasts more than 50 chapters including the stuff that comes b4 and after the match, I was skeptical how they gonna fit at least bare minimum half a season (or 12 eps) material into a single movie, but I'm glad that isn't the case and lol yeah the next arc may take up the entire next season...I'm not kidding

Well I get what your coming from but we still have a lot of chapters/story until that much so I don’t see how all of it will fit in next season cuz half of it has to be leading up to that match.

not half, third selection is the shortest selection because the U20 match takes place in three weeks, realistically if they stick to 3-4 chapters an episode they’d finish it by ep 8-9 and have the rest of the season to adapt those 50 chapters and more since the chapters with straight action go by faster in animation

Mannnnn I cannot get over Kunigami just getting eliminated like that with such little substance. Maybe he comes back as a sub for the guy that got injured? That would definitely light a fire in Kunigami since he would only be getting the chance to play as a sub and not getting selected.
