if i am right, the peaky blinders is set in a city in England called Birmingham set in 1919 and the gang is of British origin. The Police Chief is Irish. saw you guys confused with the accents so just wanted to let you guys know :)

This show takes place in Birmingham, England, with the Garrison Pub and their house being in Small Heath, an inner ward of Birmingham. And Steph, you aren't far off with the Irish accents. You will see why.
