[Poll] Merch? (Patreon)

heya everyone~

I'm currently in a rather weird situation with an ultimatum coming at the end of the year. I won't get into specifics since privacy and all that, but what does that mean for patreon/fanbox? Worst case, I won't be able to make any more projects and uploads. I don't think the worst case will happen, but you never know.

To avoid that possibiltiy, I need to earn a lot more money with Patreon/Fanbox and commissions/requests. Besides the obvious "release more projects" way of increasing earnings, I was thinking about merch, for example simple stuff like a Mug with Body Swap written on it japanese, if interest is there, maybe even use the icons I made for it. Otherwise, I would commission someone (including a commercial license) to draw some of my characters like Ixilla or Kira. Examples from Patreon are shirts, mugs, stickers, hoodies, posters and so on. It would be linked to membership tiers.

From what I've read, you need to support with a specific membership for 3 months in row (starting from the moment merch is linked to it) to be eligible for merch. I'm not sure if you can buy the merch separated from memberships, the FAQ on Patreon isn't really that helpful. I might have to make a shop page on patreon for that specifically, but I'm not sure. I would first start with merch for the higher tier memberships, since it seems the merch can't be sold through the shop page.

Before you ask, Patreon is doing all the parts after I submit the design. Creation, Shipping and customer service are all done by Patreon, so it wouldn't take away from my time to make projects.

So here is the question:

Would you all be interested in merch with my characters (drawn by an artist) on it (Mugs, Shirts, Posters, Stickers, ...) or with simple terms written on it like "Body Swap" or "Possession" but in japanese?
