Wow, Im having so much fun rewatching this concert with you. No doubt ive seen it too many times but even the official bluray doesnt have the eng sub on the performances only the talking segment... looking forward to watching the whole concert to The Golden Hour hopefully after this. 🥰

When IU wrote the lyrics for Red Queen, she set her friend Seol-ri as the main character and wrote the lyrics. And before the concert was held, Sulli committed suicide due to malicious comments from the public and various things. That's why IU wrote the rap part in the middle of the Red Queen for Seol-ri only at the Love Poem concert. The background of this wonderful song is a very sad story.

I’m really sorry but the thing that Red Queen is about Sulli is a false RUMOR. She never said that it’s about Sulli, she just said that she used her painting to represent this song. She only said that she got inspired by the Red Queen in ‘Alice in Wonderland’. But personally I do agree that her new rap in this concert is about Sulli due to the incident at that time and her lyrics. Still it’s just our guessing. It’s not a bad thing that this song’s main character is Sulli, but it’s just a completely wrong rumor. At the time Red Queen released, Sulli didn’t get lots of hate comment. The start was after. I think this false information became like a correct information that a lot of international fans still believe. I am leaving this comment in the hope that incorrect information will not spread further. I hope you don't feel offended.☺️💓

I’m really happy that you are experiencing new feelings with subtitles. Small nuances, beautiful word choices and expressions, wordplay, and the different tone of each song's different sentence style cannot be translated, so I'm still sad that translating can't convey how much of a genius lyricist she is. But once again I really appreciate translator’s hard work.🥺
