July Poll Winner 1 - Nessa (sketches) (Patreon)

The top winner of the character poll was Nessa! Drawing her has been incredibly fun, I feel like the modern pokemon style (which i think isnt always ken sugimori doing designs anymore) meshes really well with my own style and Nessa is hands down my favorite trainer in the whole franchise i think? If you haven't seen the mini series Pokemon: Twilight Wings, theyre all great vignettes on expanding the pokemon world and Nessa's episode (4) really solidified my love for her. She's a character thats so on brand for me, being a top competitor in her field and a model at the same time lol

I think I'm going to use the first sketch but I was really trying to find something dynamic! I included all my other attempts as I was getting a feel for her and I thought about using the second pic where shes under the water but I think the top one will be the most appealing image in the end. considering adding a pokemon behind her in the composition but I'm not sure which would be good so I might skip it.

Anyways, that's what I've got for you for now! I'll post the final pic when it's done then I'll start drawing Faye next. See you next post!
