WE'VE GOT AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! Also, since scheduling difficulties led to us skipping Whit's Endless Summer last month, we're covering an extra single episode of Adventures in Odyssey. Let's see how Focus on the Family handles the sensitive issue of arcade games in 1995.

Congratulations on the milestone lovelies!

Hello I am the one South Dakotan listener. North Dakota is only gayer by default. We have maybe one gay bar state wide.

The Plague of Frog is a joke mentioned in passing in Terry Pratchett's novel Pyramids, to describe how much the pseudo Egyptian kingdom has declined: even their plagues are lackluster, to the point of being a single frog that gets into the vents and keeps people awake at night.

I’m gonna pretend this bobus is for my birthday as well as the thousand patrons. Congrats!

Any chance one of you will take acid at the Focus compound, Matt Christman-style?

"Al Menconi Ministries" was the only place I could find for Evangelical game reviews in the 90s and 2000s. I remember a review complaining about Diablo II's combat playing out "as rock music blares"

I had the pleasure of revisiting Steve Green's Hide 'Em In Your Heart last month and he must've been so proud of that snappy lil soft rock groove on "You Are the Light of the World." jazz flute bay-beeee!

Hahahaha they tally the swears in movies? Maybe they don't in games because if a character swears in repeatable dialogue they'd just have to go ahead and set the tally to "infinite". Roger Ebert warned us about this. 😔 But they should make video content out of that tally, shame CinemaSins is already taken. CinemaBlasphemies just doesn't roll off the tongue as well

TalkGibberish

Congrats on the 1k. well deserved. Been listening since Episode 13. Won't be able to go to Colorado Springs, Colorado, but maybe if you ever RETVRN to Grand Rapids...

Do we get to pick our Adventures in Odyssey episode, or will it be assigned to us?

James Cézanne-Taipale

If I’m recalling my ice cream course in culinary school correctly sherbet technically is a subset of sorbet, but I’m mostly commenting because orange and chocolate do fuck as a combo.

As a North Dakotan, it is SLIGHTLY gayer here specifically in Fargo and Grand Forks. South Dakota maybe has like one or two holdouts but the rest is a conservicunt nightmare. All my homies hate SD!

Jordan Y Clementi

Th-this is my Adventure in Odyssey! It was made for me!

By Tove!

The Steve Green reference was for me

My baby brother got to do foley in their kids radio station the first time, it was actually cool as much as it burns my mouth to say. Can’t wait to hear how August goes
