Build 05.24.23 (v0.1.11) release notes (Patreon)

Hi everyone, it's time for a new Patreon build!

This release brings you a brand new sex scene sequence for Arane, this time featuring the art work for a new nsfw artist (and my lovely wife!) @JustMilfy. Make sure to follow her new journey!

Besides this, we have enhanced the characters' Likes/Dislikes system, now calling it Character Preferences internally, which now properly defines what kind of food or drinks the character likes.

Dates Level 2 will now revolve around raising the mood of the date by performing different activities and picking the right option based on the character's Preferences.

As the mood raises you will be able to perform more intimate actions until you reach the last base ;) which would consider the date successful.

Among other things we also have a new soundtrack "Exhilaration" to play during sexy time; we have new original backgrounds for 2 locations, the Downtown East Road where the library is located and the Downtown Food Plaza's Restaurant.

ENGINE/INTERNAL

+Lots of code refactor to move events out of static configurations, now it should be easier to add/update game events.

+Moved a lot of code that was handling characters' properties such as inventory/outfits/preferences/dislikes into the game where it belongs.

+Added new characters life preferences system in place of old 'likes' and 'dislikes' system.

+Adjusted food and drink items with new tags to categorize food groups for eating/drinking activities.

GAMEPLAY

+Introduced new characters preferences for drinking, eating, and watching movies (the latter is a work in progress, goal is to allow you to purchase movies you can watch during a date).

+Introduced new character stat 'Date Mood' to handle the mood of a date per character.

+Picking the right item based on the character's preferences during a date can increase the 'Date Mood'.

+Picking the wrong item based on the character's dislikes during a date can drastically decrease the 'Date Mood'.

+Date Level 2 activities and intimate actions now progress based on 'Date Mood'.

+Adjusted all items' prices.

WORLD

+Added original BG for Downtown East Road location (library location).

+Added original BG for Downtown Restaurant location.

EVENTS

+Added new sex scene for Arane's Intimate sex actions with beautiful CGs made by artist @JustMilfy participating in the game for the first time.

+Date Level 2 has been improved with dialogue lines per character personality + more facial expressions.

AUDIO

+Added Exhilaration (sexy time theme) soundtrack.

+Removed unused placeholder soundtracks.

UI

+Added new HUD to show the mood level during a date level 2.

+Improvements around Inventory UI.

+Added new mode for picking an item from inventory during a date based on activity (drinking, eating, etc).

+Added new Sexy Theme song "Exhilaration" to the credits.

+Added JustMilfy to the credits.

BUG FIXES

+Bug fix: Intimate actions can no longer be used if your Energy runs out.

+Bug fix: Playing a song that is currently playing will no longer restart the song.

+Fixed bug introduced in last release where character names weren't displayed properly in dialogue UI.

This update should be backwards compatible since v0.1.6
