In a blur of lightning-fast movements, Diana clashed swords with the underground Flame Demon Giant, exchanging blows in rapid succession over a dozen rounds.

Each collision produced a massive shockwave that shook the cavern violently, causing rocks to rain down like a torrential storm.

The sheer intensity of the battle left Barry wide-eyed in astonishment, his gaze glued to the scene as though his eyeballs might pop out of their sockets.

He couldn't believe that someone as seemingly delicate as Diana possessed such extraordinary strength.

"Haah!!"

With a fierce battle cry, Diana swung Excalibur with all her might, aiming for the Flame Demon Giant's head.

However, as the sword struck, the giant's head dissolved into a cloud of smoke and scattered!

Diana quickly prepared to swing again, but the Flame Demon Giant retaliated, lashing out a fiery whip that wrapped tightly around her body in an instant.

The giant began to swing Diana like a ragdoll, smashing her into the ground repeatedly.

"Watch out!"

Barry immediately dashed forward, lightning sparking around him as he collided with the whip, snapping it in half and freeing Diana.

"Haah!"

Drawing on her immense strength, Diana shredded the remaining coils of the whip still binding her.

Without missing a beat, she raised her sword, unleashing a radiant, blade-like energy wave that tore through the Flame Demon Giant's body, slicing it clean in half!

Yet, instead of dying, the bisected Flame Demon transformed into a cloud of searing, poisonous smoke that spread throughout the cavern.

In the next moment, the two clouds condensed, taking the form of two enormous bats.

"Ahhhhh!"

The bats let out piercing screeches that reverberated through the space, creating a deafening sonic attack.

Both Diana and Barry clutched their ears in pain, struggling to endure the assault.

Seizing the opportunity, the bats merged once again, transforming into an enormous dinosaur-like creature that nearly filled the entire cavern.

The monster opened its massive jaws, unleashing a wave of superheated flames toward Diana and Barry!

Diana jumped in front of Barry, raising her arms to shield against the fiery assault.

The heat was so intense it rivaled molten lava, causing the surrounding walls to melt and drip with glowing magma.

The air in the cavern became scorching, enough to desiccate an ordinary person in seconds.

"Ahhhh!!"

With a powerful shout, Diana slammed her bracelets together, releasing a brilliant golden light and a forceful shockwave that dispersed the flames.

The shockwave pushed the dinosaur-like creature back several steps.

Seizing the moment, Diana gripped her sword tightly and swung it multiple times. Blazing pillars of light materialized, streaking through the air like meteors to strike the underground beast.

"Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!"

Within the dazzling light, deafening noises rang out continuously, obscuring whatever transpired within.

When the light faded, the area where the monster once stood was replaced by a massive tunnel carved into the rock, smoke billowing from its depths.

"You did this!" Barry exclaimed in amazement as he opened his eyes, taking in the sight.

"Yes. By the way, do you have any actual combat experience? All I've seen you do is run and ram into things. Why don't you use your lightning?" Diana asked, noticing Barry's odd fighting style.

"Uh, actually, I don't control lightning. It's just a byproduct of my speed when I move," Barry quickly explained.

"As for combat experience, most criminals are knocked out as soon as I hit them."

He scratched his head awkwardly, feeling inadequate compared to Diana, who was not only far more skilled but also stunningly beautiful. He couldn't help but feel embarrassed about his lackluster performance.

"Huff! Huff! Huff!"

Just then, flames erupted from the walls and floor around them, catching Barry off guard.

"What's happening now?" Barry asked, jumping in alarm.

"It's not dead yet," Diana said, her tone heavy with caution as she scanned their surroundings.

Suddenly, a massive hand burst through the ground beneath them, reaching to grab them both.

Though the hand moved quickly, it appeared slow in Barry's eyes. He carefully scooped up Diana and sped away, electricity crackling around him as he ran through a nearby tunnel.

After covering a safe distance, Barry stopped and gently set Diana down.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? Can you breathe properly?" Barry asked frantically, inspecting her for injuries.

"I'm fine. Why are you so worried? Do you really think that monster could hurt me?" Diana asked, misinterpreting Barry's concern as doubt in her abilities.

"No, no! I was afraid my speed might hurt you!" Barry explained hastily.

"You see, I move as fast as lightning, and the inertia and impact can be incredibly intense. If I'm not careful, I could seriously injure someone I'm carrying."

"What? You still can't fully control that?" Diana asked, surprised.

"Uh, yeah. It's uncharted territory. I'm still figuring it out," Barry admitted, scratching his head in embarrassment.

Diana smiled sweetly, amused by Barry's shy demeanor.

"Looks like I'll have to help train you. I know someone who might be able to assist as well."

She stood and twirled her sword confidently.

"Thanks for worrying about me, but I'm fine. Don't hold back your speed—let's take this thing down together."

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

Before Diana finished speaking, the flames surged again, spreading like living entities and consuming everything in their path.

"This thing won't stay dead! What do we do?" Barry asked, readying himself for another fight.

"Simple. We beat it until it can't revive," Diana said bluntly.

Without another word, she drove her sword into the ground, releasing a shockwave of brilliant light that penetrated deep below.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The ground shattered as the Flame Demon Giant was forced to reemerge, roaring in rage as it swung its flaming greatsword at the duo.
