Boom!

The tremor subsided, and Naruto and Sasuke confirmed that the final otherworldly beast had been completely slain. Only then could they breathe a sigh of relief.

Naruto glanced at the massive beast before them, smiling as he spoke to Sasuke:
"This is the last one. We can relax a bit now, Sasuke!"

"Let Shikamaru and the others handle it. As for relaxing... stop kidding yourself. Didn't you say earlier that someone is secretly creating a Divine Tree? We need to take this seriously. If we're not careful, Kaguya might resurrect."

Sasuke's expression turned grave. "We don't have the powers of Yin and Yang anymore. If Kaguya comes back, the entire ninja world will be destroyed!"

"Yeah, I know. Sai is already on the move. I'll join him this time."

"You stay in Konoha. I'll go."

Sasuke interrupted, his tone decisive. "Your abilities and fighting style aren't suited for infiltration. My Rinnegan is far better for this, and if Sai's information about space-time abilities is accurate, only I can handle it."

"But you haven't been home in ages. The last time you returned, you only stopped by the Hokage's office... Fine, I'll leave this to you, Sasuke."

Naruto sighed, understanding that Sasuke's proposal was indeed the best option.

"By the way, this beast didn't seem all that strong. Other than being tough to kill, it wasn't as threatening as the earlier ones."

"Who knows, Naruto. When we get back, ask that onmyōji if there's a chance no more beasts will appear. We still haven't found four of them. After handling the artificial Divine Tree situation, I'll continue the search."

Naruto nodded. "Got it. By the way, if you run out of secret medicine, let the village know, or just come back to pick some up."

Soon, Shikamaru and his team arrived. They began the process of transporting the beast's body and thoroughly searched the area. Aside from a yellow orb marked with stars, nothing else was found.

With this disaster mostly resolved, only Kirigakure and Iwagakure suffered significant losses. The other three major villages had remained largely unscathed.

However, four beasts still remained. Three had yet to be located, and the fourth—a massive sea creature—was last seen near the waters of the Land of Water. Kirigakure vowed to hunt it down to prevent further devastation.

After the search, Shikamaru approached Naruto.
"Naruto, it's all set. But aside from this orb, there doesn't seem to be any treasure. Can you and Sasuke figure anything out from it?"

Shikamaru handed the star-marked orb to Sasuke, who examined it with his Rinnegan. No matter how he turned it, the four stars inside always faced forward. Beyond that, it seemed no different from an ordinary trinket.

Shaking his head, Sasuke passed the orb to Naruto. Entering Sage Mode, Naruto probed it further and even consulted Kurama, but nothing unusual was detected.

"We couldn't figure out anything. Once we're back, ask others for input or check historical records," Naruto suggested.

Midway through his sentence, Naruto paused, realizing the orb likely wasn't from their world.
"Shikamaru, if there's no information in the village, you might as well..."

"Sell it to Yoichi."

Shikamaru immediately understood Naruto's unspoken suggestion. While he personally distrusted Yoichi, selling it to him was the most practical choice. The onmyōji paid generously and often traded valuable secret medicines in return.

Despite his misgivings, Shikamaru replied, "Understood." He decided to consult Orochimaru and Tsunade first before making any decisions.

Meanwhile, at Yoichi's residence, a more personal encounter was unfolding.

"Ino-san... Ino-san!"
"Yoichi-kun, I'm coming..."

Ino's body trembled as she clung tightly to Yoichi's waist, fully immersing herself in the moment. As their passion subsided, she lay exhausted in his embrace, her breaths loud and uneven. Compared to Yoichi, Ino was clearly more fatigued, having exerted far more energy.

After a brief rest, Ino stirred, only to find herself being gently lifted. A warm cup of honey water was placed before her.

"Here, Ino-san. You sweated a lot earlier. Drink this to soothe your throat," Yoichi said warmly.

This simple gesture made Ino's heart swell with affection. Once again, she couldn't help but compare Yoichi to Sai, finding her husband lacking in every way.

"Thank you, Yoichi-kun."

Ino took the cup, her gaze filled with adoration. She leaned into Yoichi's arm, wrapping it tightly between her chest.

"Ino-san, you seemed troubled earlier. Did something upset you?"

Yoichi could sense her unusual demeanor today. While it worked in his favor, it was clear that Ino had begun to lower her emotional guard.

"It's nothing. I was just wondering..."

Thinking of Sai, Ino's mood soured. She tightened her hold on Yoichi's arm and hesitantly asked, "Yoichi-kun, do you think it's appropriate for someone like me to consider divorce?"

"Is it because of your family situation?"

Yoichi hesitated, sensing the weight of her question. Initially, his intent had been to enjoy the thrill of an affair. But with Ino becoming emotionally attached, he realized he might have gone too far.

"Ino-san, no matter what decision you make, I'll support you. As long as you're happy, that's what matters. But if you truly decide to divorce, I can't deny that I'd be thrilled, because it means I can be with you openly."

Hearing his response, Ino's doubts vanished. Joy spread across her face as she buried herself in Yoichi's chest. "Yoichi-kun, thank you..."

The room fell silent. Just as Yoichi prepared to drift off with Ino in his arms, she suddenly got up.

"Yoichi-kun, it's time for me to go back!"

"You're leaving now? It's still dark."

"That's precisely why I need to leave now. If I wait until later, someone might notice. It's better this way."

Ino attempted to get out of bed but nearly stumbled, her legs weak from their earlier activities. Feeling embarrassed, she muttered a complaint about Yoichi's stamina being overwhelming.

As she prepared to use chakra to alleviate her fatigue, Yoichi handed her a small pill.
"A recovery pill, Ino-san. It'll help with your stamina."

"Yoichi-kun!" Ino huffed, both shy and annoyed. Still, she took the pill and quickly dressed.

"Yoichi-kun, I'll be going now. Take care."

With that, Ino left the shop.

Once she was gone, Yoichi stood by the window, deep in thought.

He had clearly crossed a line with Ino. If he were native to this world, it might not matter, but as someone from another realm, he wondered if he was destined to break her heart in the end.

"Guess I'd better learn my lesson. With Temari, it'll stay strictly physical—no emotional involvement."
