Shangri La does a perfect job of hooking you onto a story that doesn't have any real stakes except for the enjoyment of a game (plus every opening is a banger). The characters are all really likeable and funny. You should definitely check out the first episode at least.

the 3rd opening is from an anime called 'Orb: on the movements of the earth' and is all about trying to prove the solar system rotates around the Sun and not the Earth while religion is fully in power (it takes place in the 15th century). It's a really good anime imo and the 3rd episode was amazing. You should definitely check it out.

Orb on the movements of Earth has my favourite opening and anime this season (the third op you reacted to)t's so good 😭 very slept on it's the hidden gem of the season. It has that Vinland Saga kind of vibes and it's animated my Madhouse (the greatest studio of all time imo the GOAT)

The SAO song is a from a Spin-off series with an alternative story. They call it SAO alternative "GGO" because it is in the same universe as the main show. Different MC's, completely unrelated to the main show, they made one season of this year's ago and somehow came around to continuing it lol

OPENING in 12 minute was from ORB about the movement of the earth its perfect and its from madhouse first 3 episodes made this anime number 1 for me in this season its dr stone but about movement of the earth im not scientist but i can understand everything because its common knowledge in this times but story about people fighting to carry on others legacy is perfect

That SAO is basically The season 2 of the spin off. It's called SAO Alternative: Gun Gale Online. Kirito is not the MC anymore. The MC is the girl in pink, who is voiced by Makima btw haha. Personally I love this better than the original series.

Fun Fact: Shari-La opening, Queen by LiSA was actually written and Composed by FZMZ. That's why it sounded like a "Shangri-La Opening" if you know what I mean. So you thought FZMZ left Shangri-La? Nope They still there.

Nick that anime that looked like Vinland Saga is called "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth" and its synopsis: "After learning heretical teachings about the Earth and the Sun, a child prodigy searches for his master's hidden research while evading the Inquisition." Basically when scientists discovered that Earth is actually orbiting the Sun instead of the other way around, it caused a lot of trouble as people were religious back then and thought Earth was the centre of the universe and stuff.

If I can be 100% honest I much prefer your non-stream content. Don't mean it in a rude way, but you're incredibly excitable and distracted during streams, but during your solo YouTube / patreon stuff you're much chiller and make better jokes / observations. For the Orb opening (third one), it's by the band Sakanaction, and they are amazing (in my opinion). This is the only anime opening or ending they've done, but they did make the soundtrack for the live action film for Bakuman, which was actually pretty good (The song they made for the credits, Shin Takarajima, is also incredible)

I finished the manga of Orb (the one that looks like Vinland Saga), and it’s a true masterpiece. Perfect story and characters. The orb is very popular in Japan and the manga won several awards. Nick would definitely like it, and there’re only few reactors reacting to it now.
