There's an extension called "SponsorBlock" which allows you to take advantage of the urge that some autistic people have to exhaustively tag things, and it will automatically skip segments tagged as in-video ads (and optionally inane filler content).

Vito is mostly right about the phone soundboard thing. Any incoming call you get that sounds like a reasonably convincing person is a soundboard with a person on the other end, pretty much always some PAC disguised as a charity. Automated systems you call into are not.
