Socialized medicine. I get treated through the VA which is exactly the model that would be put in place in the US if we had socialized medicine. Can't directly call to schedule an appointment, have to wait for them to call you which can take weeks then the next available dates are months out. It took me almost three weeks to schedule two appointments. One isn't until mid May and the next one is in August. If I'm lucky the follow up appointments will be before the end of the year. Also during lockdown I couldn't walk after a car accident and they wouldn't schedule me untill 2021.
