congratulations on 100 episodes! it was a nice treat to have Sean on. I hope he comes back again with a bit of time to prepare. Re: Voice Actors Recording at Home, it’s something that’s been going on for a while. I’m a huge Simpsons fan and from what I understand Harry Shearer stopped attending table reads years ago. he’s sort of an extreme case, but being patched in on speaker phone is a lot different than being in the room. it’s harder to deliver your own lines, to work with the other voice actors, and to punch-up. Regarding room tone, check out “Lisa the Vegetarian” where Paul and Linda McCartney were recorded at some estate in England. very noticeable tone from the main cast. or any ADR line of Simpsons really. Sorry for the long post. one last thing: Dick have you read any of the John Swartzwelder books?
