January 2024 Update (Patreon)

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve and are looking forward to 2024. As of the time I'm writing this, I'm already working on Rigbette and Palutena stories which I do plan to have finished before the end of the month. November and December have been especially busy for me, but I'm planning to go through with my plans for January, which also means I will be reopening commissions again by the fifteenth of this month. Most of my workload has gotten lighter now and it won't take me long to finish what I have left. For those who have been waiting weeks or more for completion, I'm thankful for your patience and I promise I'll get back to you soon. Until then, if anyone needs an update, don't hesitate to contact me directly.

That being said, I would also be disingenuous if I didn't mention some of the other complications that came throughout the month. I've kept them personal for a while now, but I feel it's worth some transparency now considering it's part of what made 2023 so tough to get by. At the start of the year, around the end of February, something happened acquatainces that ended in them cutting ties from me abruptly and left me incredibly depressed. This coupled with something similar in April of that year left me constantly struggling to get through work even as I tried to distract myself with it in favor of playing a game or doing something leisurely. Which isn't to say I still didn't do those things, but in the end it made me absolutely miserable and led to some commissions or other projects taking longer to get done, and I'm sorry to those who waited so long on those. I should have done something about it sooner, which is why I'm glad to announce I'm already getting help through therapy now that my work has been able to help sustain me. 

Also of note is a change I want to make regarding Patreon content for 2024. Part of my self-imposed resolve towards finishing my current backlog means cutting back on other projects so I can have them ready in due time. So I've made the difficult choice to hereby hold off on hosting a January poll for this month in favor of focusing on each of my commissions and other stories left, of which I have three major stories all looking to be somewhere more than 5,000+ words that I'll have finished before February comes. Once they're all done, I'll be coming back into the usual routine of doing a poll for February and so on, with commissions open again for those interested. I understand not having a poll for this month is disappointing, but I promise the delay will be worth it. In fact, I'll even have a new story ready tomorrow for those who enjoy my smellier works, with the Rigbette one-off coming later in the week. 

Lastly, as a final teaser for things to come and as another resolution for myself this year, I want to announce that I'll be trying to write a novel in-between my time working on other projects this year. All updates will be shared here first, that much won't change, but I feel it's worth mentioning the star now for those who have missed her in my work for some time. It will be a chance to explore themes of sexuality while also balancing butt expansion and sci-fi elements that I'm hoping you'll enjoy. I'm sure it will lighten your day when the first chapter drops by around early-to-mid February of this year.
