So the top voted character for the pin-up this round was Nikoli! Aside from the obvious sexy nature of the image, what do you feel the elements of the image say about him? I'm always curious and love to hear your thoughts. :)

First thought: OH NO! The toes are cut off! *cries* Which leads me to the second thought about him - he's certainly a tease. His posture and expression scream that he knows how damn good he looks, and that he's just putting out there in the most blatantly teasing way possible. I find the heat locket really interest too in that there must be a story behind that; something that would reveal more interesting details about him and his past. Perhaps a more subtle interesting thing is when looking at his long fingers, the talons of his right hand seem to be clasping a little at his thigh, and ruffling the fur a little. Maybe I'm reading a bit between the lines, but seems like a little hint that maybe he's not quite as comfortable in this pose and being stared at than his general posture might imply. I like that... makes him a lot more realistic, emotionally.

Oh wow I like that! The wooden making of the throne he's on, the exotic look of the trident to his left, and the drinking/war-horn (not sure which) speak very strongly of the type of culture he comes from, which is dependent on the overall world he lives in (fantasy, modern, etc). Certainly one that is deeply ingrained with wolves/werewolves like Nikoli I would assume. His posture with his leg hiked up like that is VERY inviting/teasing, not to mention that he's giving us a better 'view', leaning back and leaving himself spread like that :P His overall expression and body language tells me he's quite interested in what exactly his viewer will do next, and very confident in himself, or at least what he's doing at the moment with his showing off and casually holding that horn up (which I'm now seeing in a phallic manner xD). Excellent work on a very, very well done pinup! I'm curious about his collar and that locket as ToeClaws mentioned, but I don't know his backstory enough to have any real hints as to what their story is.

Whoops, on those toes! ;p There is indeed a story behind his locket. It holds symbolic, as well as sentimental importance to him, as it was a gift from his late fiancé, Blaze. She was murdered, and after her death he had a hole drilled in its centre in order, to show, both the part of him that is missing after losing her, as well as show that is the space she will always occupy. ^^; Ad for his hand, its indeed clasping/pressing into his thigh. C:

Heh - yeah, for folks like me, the toes are like THE sexiest part of him, so to have them -almost- showing but not quite is definitely a "AHH noooo!" moment. XD Now that's a very sad but touching story behind the locket. I admire that he'd wear that, at all times. If she was murdered, were those responsible brought to justice? What happened exactly (you're certainly interesting me in his tale)? Poor guy... perhaps explains a tinge of the discomfort shown in his hand.
