Well, I’m voting for a Six Feet Under rewatch. I originally watched with my mom as a teenager, and just recently rewatched with her as a 33-year old. It’s the kind of show that really makes you pause and reflect and it gets quite fascinating when you revisit at different ages. Sparked some really interesting conversations, especially with people having passed since the early 2000s, most notably my dad. Has your partner/wife seen it before?

Yeah, it made such an impression on me and my mom at the time, we both thought well, if we rewatched it would be the same. No. That’s what’s fascinating, depending on what age you are, and what you’ve experienced in life, you identify with different characters and situations. My mom’s been so upset with the U.S. for well, decades (we live in Norway) but obviously escalating the last 4-5. I’ve had to remind her most of her favorite series and movies still originate from the United States and you’re not all lost causes 👀😄 (Also, sorry if you’re Canadian, I forget)

Nooo, no shame in that. I’m fairly confident you didn’t vote for orange, so 😄👍🏼 My dad’s cousin has lived in the US since the 60’s, but the last few months she’s been frantically trying to get her Norwegian citizenship back, and it’s been delayed due to COVID. Her daughter and husband already fled in 2016 and vowed to never return until there was a new president. Hopefully they’ll feel a little bit calmer now. But you guys still have a loooong way to go 👀
