I'm so glad I found you guys, JK. There aren't a lot of people reacting to this show who have full reactions, so these make me really happy. This is one of my favorite shows, and I'm thrilled to see someone else loving it as much as me. There are times when I don't like Luke, but there are other times when I love him. The same happens with Moira. But at the same time, I love all the characters, because they are so incredibly real. I also wanted to say, this episode has one of the best depictions of PTSD I've ever seen. It's impossible to know what it's like unless you have it, and it's extraordinarily hard to pull off in media without it being over or underplayed. This episode did it perfectly. It's in the way little details of normal life can remind you of the events that create the triggers. Things that seem random and harmless cause flashbacks of the trauma to flood back on you in a wave of horror and rage or fear. Not only is June's PTSD depicted with brutal accuracy, but the way it effects those around her, especially Luke and the other women, is handled beautifully. The scene where June screams at Serena ("Do you understand me!?) is one of the most satisfying moments of television I've ever seen, and that's saying something, because it's in a show that's filled with moments that make you want to cheer or weep, or both. June is one of the strongest characters I've seen in a long time, and choosing to make her seem slightly unhinged at times is a wise choice, because after what she's been through, it was bound to happen. They risked making her seem unlikable, but it was the right move. It makes the whole thing feel so much more real. Your reactions to this show are fantastic. I can't wait for season 6 to come out so we can watch it together. I'm glad I found you, JK. Onto the next...
