Just binged these reactions. So fun watching this with you! It made sense for Amma to be the killer because she had been abused her entire life but she was also trained to crave attention the same way Adora needed attention. Amma killed Ann and Natalie because they took attention away from Amma. Adora was starting to pay those girls attention and that angered Amma. The same way Amma’s new friend Mae at the end was taking attention away from Amma. Amma was jealous that Mae was interested in journalism like Camille so she also needed to die. Mae’s mother not being able to find her and the bedspread for the dollhouse that Mae made being thrown in the trash implied that Amma killed Mae too. And then the after credits shows the actual murders. The book ended the same way with Amma being revealed to be the killer at the very last minute. It’s a terrifying and sad story because Camille was traumatized by the death of her first sister and then learned that her own mother killed her. She felt guilty that she was unable to save her but then felt that she could at least save her second sister but then at the very end realizes that it was too late to save Amma. It’s so good😂
