I saw this creatures a lot of times but never knew who they are till i got request to draw one from this creatures and was have to googled^^
Never stop to amaze how much creativity imagination some people have)

It's a race based on the Primagen, by the same original artist. While the Primagen is a closed species and one can only legally have one through adoption from the original designer, the Protogen is open and has a large range of options to choose from. They are 40% cybernetic and their limbs work on a plug-and-play system and can be easily swapped out for whatever task they're intended for, which is really handy since they are designed for space exploration. There's a lot more I could say here, but I'll let those who care to know follow this link instead.
