This turned out to be quite an intense work week! I honestly was not expecting that I'd be working as hard as I did on some of the upcoming videos, but it turns out that I had a good amount of energy to keep going and get some videos done for both YouTube and TikTok, especially when they were more complex than I anticipated. It was so much that it had me worried and took some time to slow down a little bit so that I don't face a burnout later. But the point is that I did a lot this week, and you'll see why in this blog.

  • Released the Completed Version of Animation Lookback: The Muppets: There was actually a challenge that came with uploading the completed version of this, and it's not what you think. Yes, this was a gigantic file to upload and it took quite some time, but the real obstacle is the copyright claims. There is a difference between this one and the individual parts that are uploaded on YouTube (which I'll talk later), but it did collect a bunch of claims of clips and music that I used throughout the Lookback. Not as much as there were for AL: WDAS+, but they're still annoying to deal with. The good news is that I was able to get rid of half of them before it went live, but now it's just waiting for the other half to leave so that it's all clean for me. By the way, there are a few differences between this and the parts. They mainly consist of editing corrections to give them a better polish and look nice throughout like cleaning up some green screen effects. There is also one small piece of trivia that I added because I had some comments asking where is it, so so that can hopefully help make some people happy. And now with the full version uploaded, Animation Lookback: The Muppets is officially complete.

  • Finished the next Ranking Video: This admittedly took a lot more time to make than expected. It shows that it's been a while since I've made one of these videos. I was thinking, since this is more of a vlog-type project like the AniMat Watches, I would get this done by the weekend. This was definitely not the case. There was more work that I had to be put in so that it can be great, which includes searching for the right clips to show examples of my point, and I've gathered a good chunk. With that said, this turned out to be a very fun video. Even coming out at over 80 minutes, I think this will be something that fans of the subject will enjoy with looking at many of the characters and judging their capabilities of saying F***. I made sure that this turned out great and I can't wait to show you what I got.

  • Started Working on the next History Video: After finishing the Ranking video, I did a whole lot of smaller errands, including some TikTok videos, and I gradually took it easy so that I don't overwork myself and make sure I get some side projects done like some personal things and cameos for others. However, once I got those out of the way, I was ready to begin my next project, and I know this will be a big one. This is a subject that I had in my mind for a long time and I've spent months mentally preparing myself because this will require me to jump down a rabbit hole that will highlight a big problem with the animation industry, and I'll be using one animated movie as my main subject to cover. I don't know how much time this will take me to make (maybe a few weeks), but I know that I've anticipated myself for this moment and I'll be finally bring this vision to life.

  • REMINDER FOR PATRONS $50+/MONTH: This month's Discord Chat will be happening on Tuesday the 23th at 8pm EST. Let me know if you're not available for either so I'll organize a quick chat at a different time.

And that's been my big working week. I'm a bit shocked that I went through all that, but you know what? I'm glad I did it, and I'm happy I was able to get a lot done. And considering this is 4/20, let's make it a day where we relax and mellow out to prepare us for next week (and you don't necessarily need weed to help you do that). Also, I will be back uploading new videos next week starting with the Beavis and Butt-Head Do America review. Thank you all again for your patience and you'll see that the wait will be worth it. So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!

I’m afraid I can’t make it to this week’s chat. But I’ll be there for the chat NEXT month for something special for you. (May is my birth month)

Oh boy! A new history video! Love your history videos, and definitely looking forward to this new one. The vague details you gave for the subject of this upcoming one is very interesting and leaves me guessing which animated film could represent the problem with the entertainment industry today. It could be the canceled Coyote vs Acme to represent Zalov and Warner Bros’ stupid method of canceling films for tax write-offs or the troublesome production of Across the Spider-Verse and the toxic work environment created by Lord and Miller for their treatment of the animators during production of other animated films like The Lego Movie and The Mitchells vs the Machines. The possibilities are endless.
