Update Blog - 2/12/22 (Patreon)

Valentine's Day is coming up, and I'm semi-celebrating it by talking about last year's pop culture queen. Weird, I know, but this is probably the most festive I've been with this holiday XP. Other than that, I have been at work on a new and pretty big review coming this month, so I am pretty excited to get this one done and show you what I did where I gave it a special twist. But that's the short story of it. Here's how my week has been.

- Released the History of Lady Dimitrescu: I know that the whole trend of Resident Evil Village is past us, but it's still fascinating to see its cultural impact, especially with this one particular character. This was a unique and fun history video to work on because I decided to go on an extra step to learn not just the history of how this character was made, but why the whole Internet loves her so much, even if it means exploring the sexual aspect of her. I know it's subject matter that's more "adult" than what I regularly talk about on my channel, but as an adult myself with my own sexual interest (and yes, ven for women like Lady D), it's still fascinating to understand more they feelings many people get from her presence and why some would unapologetically simp for her. Also a quick shoutout to Tyler for helping me out with this project with additional research and be involved with the writing to ensure that all the info we know about the Lady so far is included. I honestly couldn't have done it without her. And even with all the new knowledge I've gained all about her. she's still one amazing waifu...when she's nice, of course.

- Working on the next Series Review: This is going to be another big review, but not for the reasons you may think. This won't necessarily be like last time with Young Justice where there's so much to discuss and analyze about the show, but I've figured out another cool little narrative to have within the review. I know how I can have this tied up with the whole "plot" of the video. Now my next challenge will be to execute it all and to have it look good. I've got some crazy ideas of what I want to do with those parts, but I know that'll be a whole challenge in itself to turn that into a video and it will have me experiment with more green screen. Will these effects work? That's what I'm about to find out. As you're reading this, I"m still editing the review, but should be done soon. Don't know if the Algorithm will be pleased with this one, since series reviews don't get a lot of attention on my channel, but I hope that for those that do see it, will enjoy it,

So that was my week of work, outside of personal affairs in my personal life. I know not many are fans of Valentine's Day (I get it, it's pretty stupid), but at least for this weekend, spend some time with people that you love, rather it be your lover, your family, your friends, or even your fictional waifu. We all need a moment to feel loved and with all the support you've all shown me, I love you all <3 So, until next time...
