I didn't expect that I'd be doing mostly the same thing as last week, but here I am. I'm so focused on getting one big project done that it took me several days to make sure I feel like this turns out the best that it can ever be. I was expecting that maybe I'd be moving on to another project soon, but sometimes, passion can make you do some crazy things. Anyways, here's what I got for this week.

- Released my review of Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood: I've gotten some comments from people telling me that I was late with this review...I know, I know. But, if you've read my previous blogs here, then you may know a bit why. Around the time when this came out, I ended up biting more than I could chew and I nearly had a burnout by simultaneously working on several reviews (including this one) at the same time. Once I cooled down, I ultimately decided that, since this never made a big impact in the levels of either Sonic 2 or The Bad Guys, I decided to save up this review and release it in a vacant spot in my schedule so that I have more time making other videos like the ones I mention below. Anyways, I'll admit, I"m not as big of a fan of this movie as much as others. I get how some would highly enjoy this, but I personally feel like I was kind of lied to and neglected so that it caters to 1960s fans. It is a well-done film, in a way, with great animation and solid actors, but I'm not getting a legit sense of direction of where Linklater wants to bring this movie. I get he loves to experiment with his animation, but this didn't work great for me.

- Editing Animation Lookback: The Muppets: This was a whole week of continuous revisions. I've technically finished up the main editing of the first part last week, but I wanted to make sure that I make an amazing first impression with this one and make sure to have this be one of my best videos of the year. There are times when I have to make some major changes, including small redos on the narration to fix up either the grammar or pronounciation of a sentence or even making some big changes where I re-filmed the whole intro, a process that took me several days and even more takes until I got one that feels right. This doesn't even include the heavy amount of green screen effects needed. There may be a chance that I'll have to do more revisions in case there are little details I may have missed and want to fix up for the sake of perfection, but I can say that, in the shape that it is now, Animation Lookback is gonna be coming back in an unforgettable way.

- Working on the next AniMat's Classic Reviews: I know that I can't just keep on focusing on the small stuff on AL. I still have other projects that need to be done or else I'll end up getting behind on my work and don't want to be flooded with "Where's the..."comments. For now, I put that one aside and I'm getting to work on the next batch of ACRs. For now, I'm still in the middle of the Buzz Lightyear review and I am lucky that this is a pretty quick movie that's only over an hour and that I am a bit familiar with the series that it spun off (use to watch some of it as a kid), so it did help make the process go a little quicker and I think I'll have this get done by the weekend and will then hop onto the next review. It's still work, but in a way, it's my break after the epic task of AL.

- REMINDER FOR PATRONS $25+/MONTH: I will have my first episode of the Super Secret Patreon Exclusive Q&A Show ready and released for Monday the 23th. If you have a question you'd like me to answer for the show, message me and mention that it's for the Secret Q&A Show. Also, this will be the final episode before I switch the reward to Art Commissions. Make sure your final question counts or this is a good opportunity to ask any questions related to the new reward coming.

- REMINDER FOR PATRONS $50+/MONTH: This month's Discord Chat will be happening on Tuesday the 17th, and Thursday the 19th and both at 2pm EST. Let me know if you're not available for either so I'll organize a quick chat.

And that should be all for this week. I got a feeling that I'll have to prepare myself for next week because there will be a lot that's ahead of me. Talking to patrons, reviews to work on and, of course, prepare myself for Chip n' Dale. So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!

The “Buzz Lightyear of Star Command” Classic Review will definitely satisfy as the appetizer before part one of “Animation Lookback: Muppets” is posted and the much-awaited “Lightyear” is released in theaters!
